DJ E.L. is one of the hottest DJ's in the Tri-State area.

He has been deejaying for over 20 years and has entertained

thousands across Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York.

 

DJ E.L. inherited his passion for music from his father, who

was a well-known musician in a funk band during the 70's.

DJ E.L. started off playing various instruments like the

trombone, but at the age of twelve he discovered deejaying.

That's when the love affair began.

 

While attending Central Connecticut State University, DJ E.L.

sharpened his skills by deejaying for the campus radio station,

WFCS 107.7 FM. His unique style of mixing and music selection

gave him a name in the local college community. This enabled him

to be known as the best DJ for college parties on and off campus,

even after he graduated. DJ E.L. had one of the longest running

mixshows in Connecticut, a total of 14 years from 1992-2006.

 

DJ E.L. has been one of the premiere club DJ's in the area as well. 

He has moved crowds in some of the hottest nightclubs in Hartford, 

New Haven, Waterbury and Springfield. He can play the top 40 

popular songs of the moment as well as craft special blends and 

mixes to cater to any crowd, of any age group, for any occasion.

 

As a prominent force in the DJ Battle community, DJ E.L.'s 

incomparable technical skill has awarded him numerous titles 

over the years. He is a four time Connecticut Champion of the 

Guitar Center DJ Spin Off. He is a two time Top 10 Regional 

Finalist of the Technics DMC DJ Battle, which is one of the  

most prestigious battle competitions in the world. DJ Battles

 

In November 2002, he was featured in an article in the New York 

Times for his love and dedication to the art of deejaying. In

In 2004, during a survey taken by battle DJ's across the nation, 

DJ E.L. was honored as one of the top 65 Battle DJ's in the 

United States.
